What awaits you

A True Online Ninja World

Every fight runs on a dedicated authoritative server — what you see is what really happened. No host advantage, no trusting the other player.

⚔️

119 Jutsu

Elemental ninjutsu, brutal taijutsu, mind-bending genjutsu and clan bloodline arts — learned from teachers on a visual jutsu tree, then built into a loadout you carry into battle.

🩸

Twelve Clans

Blood, shadow, smoke, spiders, bone, beasts, parasites and puppets. Your clan decides your village and grants signature techniques no one else can ever learn.

🗺️

A Million-Tile World

A thousand tiles on a side — twenty-five named regions of forest, canyon, swamp, lake and volcanic rock, with bandit camps, treasure caves, capturable outposts, a working railroad and a roaming world boss.

🐸

Summoning & Riding

Hunt wild creatures, bind one to a contract with a Summoning Scroll, and call it into battle. Roll a big enough beast and you can ride it.

📈

Rank & Mastery

Rise from Genin to Village Leader. Clear the Chuunin Exams, run field missions, and train your passives through use — the way you fight is what gets stronger.

🤝

Built for Friends

Squad up, raid a rival village, duel in the arena, join a Capture the Scroll event, or hunt a world boss together in one shared, persistent world.

Where it all happens

The Frontier

One shared open world, a thousand tiles on a side, divided into twenty-five named regions — the Abhorrent Bog, Rice Country, Roaring Falls, Lightning Canyon, Snake Isle and the Dead Zone among them.

🏕️

16 Bandit Camps

Fortified enemy camps with tiered guards. Clear one for EXP and gold, or take a mission to clear three.

🚩

13 Outposts

Capturable frontier forts that fly your village's banner and pay gold income while you hold them.

🕳️

9 Caves

Cracks in the cliffs leading to torch-lit underdark caverns, each guarded by an elite holding treasure.

🚂

The Railroad

A steam train loops the frontier on a closed rail, dwelling at four stations. It's a rideable moving platform — and sometimes it carries gold worth stealing.

👹

The World Boss

A roaming elemental boss with a public health bar. It respawns with a new specialty, so no two hunts play the same.

🏠

Enterable Interiors

Homes, banks, hospitals, academies, Kage towers and per-clan halls — all fully enterable, with line-of-sight shadow lighting inside.

🌫️

The Mist Barrier

A fog ring guards the Mist Village: touch it and you're blinded, and it blocks teleports outright.

🎏

Living Villages

Named townsfolk roam their whole village with lore dialogue, and rumours of your kills and arena wins spread among them.

Choose your allegiance

The Five Villages

Your village is your home, your spawn and your war banner. You can only join a village native to your clan — clanless ninja may join any. Villages declare war, broker alliances and elect leaders through real player diplomacy.

The Leaf

Walled forest stronghold

Timber walls and ramparts deep in the forest, where the will of fire burns hottest. The largest clan roster in the game.

White LotusWolf MasterShadowgroveBody Manipulator

The Mist

Lake city behind the fog

A city on the water, ringed by a blinding fog barrier that stops outsiders — and teleports — at the edge. Silent, lethal, unseen.

KetsuekiKemuri

The Rock

Bastion of the highlands

A stone keep set high among the mesas, home to demolitionists and beekeepers who fight with mud bombs and swarms.

DorozukaHiveborn

The Sound

Cavern basin of forbidden arts

Warrens in the cavern basin where forbidden experiments are studied and the outcast are sheltered. Four clans call it home.

Crimson IrisIvory ReaverKiseichuKumogane

The Cloud Region

Ruined plateau · abandoned

A broken plateau in the north, still standing but no longer held. Nobody swears to the Cloud any more — you can walk its ruins, but you cannot call it home.

Neutral Ground

Everything in between

Villages are safe zones. Everywhere else — the bogs, the rice country, the falls, the rail line — is open, and other players are fair game.

Alpha Access

Ninja Clan Wars is in active alpha. The world, the clans and the combat are all live and playable — but the public download isn't open yet.

⚔️ Download Coming Soon

We're still in alpha: the game runs on a live dedicated server and is being built and patched almost daily. A public client will be available to download here once it's ready for a wider crowd.

Until then, alpha testing is run through the Discord — that's where builds, patch notes and server status go out first.

That's where alpha builds go out, where bugs get reported, and where you'll hear when the public download opens.

2

Make Your Ninja

Pick a clan and a village, choose your look, and start as a Genin with your first element still unspent.

3

Play the Tutorial

You'll open on The Kami's Last Stand — a guided battle you fight as the Kami, and lose. Then the frontier is yours.

Alpha means rough edges are expected and balance changes land often. Bug reports in the Discord genuinely shape what gets fixed next.

The Twelve Clans

Your clan decides which village you can join and grants exclusive signature jutsu no one else can learn — sixty techniques locked behind bloodline. Signatures require Chuunin rank or higher, and are taught in your clan's own hall.

Clanless (“Basic”) ninja can join any village but learn no signature techniques — they make up for it with elements, a profession, a taijutsu style and raw skill.

Master the arts

The Jutsu Tree

Elemental techniques are taught by the teachers inside each village's Academy, and unlock along a visual tree — earlier jutsu are prerequisites for the ones beyond them.

Element mastery

Your first element is free. Every additional element costs EXP and permanently shaves 10% off all your elemental damage — so a five-element ninja is versatile but blunt. Master zero elements instead and you gain +10% to melee and taijutsu, which is a genuinely competitive build.

119 jutsu exist in the live build across elements, clans, professions and styles. Numbers and kits are tuned often — treat any figure here as a guide, not gospel.

Learn a trade

Professions & Fighting Styles

Two independent one-per-ninja tracks, each learned from a named master out in the world. A profession costs 500 EXP to take, then each of its jutsu is bought separately.

🛠️ Professions — pick one
🎎

Puppeteer

Pilot a construct in real time. The Colossal Puppet brawls with punch-and-grab combat on two chakra threads; the Devil Puppet is driven directly to thrust and spin through a crowd.

🎵

Flutes

Flute Playing is a toggle stance costing no chakra — your melee becomes a sound wave that shoves everyone back, but you can't sprint. Flute Burst fires a telegraphed cone that disorients, and Set Rod plants a lightning rod.

🖌️

Ink Master

Draw a shape in black ink with real vector strokes, then save it as a blast or a mine. Cosmetic ink puddles on the ground relay your blasts across the field.

💊

Medic

The support path. Mend and Field Mend restore vitality, while Chakra Punch and Chakra Stomp deal chakra-typed damage that illusion resistance can't blunt.

🗡️

Swordsman

The blade path, and the gateway to Piercing Flash Step. Pairs with the weapon system — a drawn sword replaces your fist combo entirely.

👊

...and a Style

Separate from your profession, every ninja may also learn one taijutsu style from its own master. It grants and locks its own moves exactly the way a profession does.

🥋 Taijutsu Styles — pick one

Bind a beast

The Summoning Contract

Wild creatures live out in terrain that suits them — an amphibian near water and paddy fields, on the bank as often as in it. Track one down, defeat it, and you have thirty seconds with the body to bind it.

1

Hunt It

Find a wild creature in its native biome. Every one that spawns has its own independently rolled stats — no two are alike.

2

Bind It

Use a Summoning Scroll on the fresh corpse within the 30-second window. What you killed is exactly what you bind — grades and all.

3

Call It

Summon your contract into battle, give it orders from the command window — follow, attack, defend, passive — or climb on and ride it.

The three grades
GradeWhat it changesWhy it matters
PowerMelee damage and vitalityHow hard it hits and how long it lives.
SpeedMovement speedGrade B moves exactly as fast as a sprinting player.
SizeHow big it renders — and how big its jutsu landGrade A or S is large enough to ride.

Each grade is rolled separately on an FS ladder, so a huge slow weakling and a tiny lethal one are both possible. A creature may also roll jutsu of its own from its species pool, which it casts in battle — and its cards appear in your own jutsu window to assign.

Rank & Progression

Four ranks, twenty-one missions, and a passive system that levels through use rather than purchase.

Genin

The start

Where everyone begins. Learn your first element, find your village, and survive your first fight in the open.

Chuunin

Clan arts unlock

Won through the Chuunin Exams. Unlocks your clan's signature jutsu and raises your Death Count cap.

Jounin

500 EXP · 3 missions

Earned by being Chuunin, completing village missions and spending EXP like currency.

Village Leader

Elected

Lead the village: declare war, broker alliances, and answer for everyone flying your banner.

Ways to earn it
📜

21 Missions

Take contracts from the mission board — patrols, camp clears, cave delves, PvP bounties and outpost captures. A gold waypoint arrow points you to the objective.

🎯

Field Encounters

Scripted set-pieces that build themselves around you: escort The Long Caravan, hold a chokepoint through five waves, free prisoners before the block, or stagger The Clash King by clashing his heavy strike.

🏵️

Passive Training

Passives start weak and grow through weighted objectives — do the things the passive is about and it ranks up. There are many more paths than you need, so no two ninja train the same way.

🥋

The Chuunin Exams

Part 1 is a hideout infiltration: a rotating maze seeded with floor traps, and a waiting lounge for everyone who's already through.

🏳️

Capture the Scroll

An automated event that recruits every half hour: a two-base arena, red against blue, first team to five captures takes the EXP and gold.

⚔️

The Arena

Ranked 1v1 duels on a walled ring or a void platform where ring-outs are lethal. An Elo ladder tracks it. A separate Test Arena lets you try any loadout off the books.

Combat Basics

The systems every ninja lives and dies by.

Your three pools
❤️

Vitality

Your life. Hit zero and you're knocked out. Wind and lightning strike vitality directly; fire splits across both pools.

💪

Stamina

Soaks most damage before it spills into vitality. Water, earth and taijutsu drain it — and so do sprinting and dodging.

🔵

Chakra

Fuels jutsu, with no passive regen mid-fight. Hold Charge to siphon from your reservoir, or rest somewhere safe.

💀

Death Count

Each knockout adds one. Struggle back up before it reaches your cap — that's a real death and a respawn. Rank raises the cap.

Fighting
👊

Melee & Charge

Light taps chain punch → punch → kick. Hold to release a charged strike with heavy knockback.

🛡️

Block & Dodge

Blocking roots you and spends a 500-point guard pool; break it and the next hit lands full. Dodging costs stamina and grants i-frames.

The Clash

When two melees collide you enter a rhythm duel — time your presses to the sweeping marker. Mashing loses.

🗡️

Weapons

Blades carry FS grades in Damage, Reach and Speed. Draw one and it replaces your fist combo with a single cut that costs vitality, not stamina.
